Model United Nations

Two thousand university students are meeting in Melbourne this week to solve the world's problems. They are part of a 20-year project, initiated by Harvard University, to mimic the structure of the United Nations as a tool for discussing and debating international issues. Students will be representing countries, and making resolutions, at their own version of the General Assembly and the specialist agencies of the United Nations such as the World Health Organization and the International Criminal Court.
