A one-hour review of the media and communication potential of your innovation, paper or announcement. Over the course of an hour, we will explore your story and audiences and develop an outline media plan that you can take to your in-house team, or that we can implement for you. $500 AUD + GST

We will work with you to develop a 12-month communication and media plan for your innovation, paper or announcement. This starts with a 90-minute workshop, with a two page plan delivered within a fortnight. $1,200 AUD + GST

What makes a good pitch or presentation? In this session, we’ll do a focused deep dive on what your key stakeholders need to know about your research: the media, industry, government, or investors. $500 AUD + GST

Science prize discovery

Science In Public has worked with some of Australia’s leading science and technology prize bodies, including the Prime Minister’s Science Prize and the L’Oréal Women In Science Awards. In this one-hour session, we’ll evaluate your work or announcement through the lens of prize submissions. With our help, you’ll have a clear understanding of which prizes may be worth applying to and how you should frame your innovation to give you the best chance at receiving an official nomination. $500 AUD + GST

The Science in Public team have decades of experience working in the media, research sector, industry and government. Hire our team members for one-off/ad-hoc advice for an hour or more. From: $500 AUD + GST

You’ll workshop key points, practice presenting your story and be offered feedback. You’ll also meet and be interviewed by working journalists from TV, radio and print. Open training workshops are held regularly around Australia: $950 AUD + GST per place.
