Marketing Consultant

Jacqui is a strategic marketing and communication leader with 25+ years’ experience across space, defence, government and technology. She specialises in turning complex science into clear, compelling stories for media, policy-makers and the public; through brand strategy, campaigns, websites, stakeholder programs and major events.

Jacqui began in enterprise tech at Hewlett-Packard, leading B2B marketing for services and infrastructure. In government she served at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and then built the Communications and Media function at the Australian Space Agency from the ground up, directing brand, policy narratives, media releases, speeches and high-profile events for Federal Ministers, Agency Heads and international partners.

Career highlights include NASA–Australia’s Moon to Mars announcement (Washington DC, 2019), the public opening of the Australian Space Agency headquarters (2020), JAXA’s Hayabusa2 sample return at Woomera (2020) and the launch of the Australian Space Discovery Centre (2021). She led the public release of Advancing Space: The Australian Civil Space Strategy 2019–28. Her work has been recognised with commendations from NASA and JAXA, and a Geospatial World Leadership Award for enabling public policy.

Through her consultancy The Write Space, Jacqui supports organisations to grow their brand and impact.
